Ogoh-Ogoh procession is a creative expression of the Hindu community in Bali over the meanings of Nyepi. Hindus created Ogoh-Ogoh with a shape like a demon and forms a symbol of the negative traits that should be merged so as not to interfere with human life. Ogoh-Ogoh raised by some people around the streets of the village as a symbol of the sacred cycle turnaround heading into the new year "Caka". After that ogoh-ogoh are burned as a symbol smelting negative things. The entire highway will be filled by people who wanted to watch the parade of ogoh-ogoh. Nyepi is the Hindu feast day is celebrated every New Year "Caka". On Nyepi Hindus meditate for inner and outer self-cleaning. Cleansing of all the sins that have been done during the life of the world and beg the Almighty to be given the power to be able to run a better life in the future. Nyepi is derived from the word '' quiet '' (silent) which is the Hindu New Year celebration by Caka calendar.
